MAC Dare to Bare Mineralize Eye Shadow Pictures, Swatches, Review
If you were wondering why I dearest stake, shimmery gold shadows like MAC'southward Dare to Blank Mineralize Eye Shadow (and I don't know why you lot would), lemme pause it down for you lot.
They never make me experience swollen or sausage-y (unlike my skinny jeans). They never seize with teeth me (unlike my moody tabby true cat). They never show upwards unannounced, seemingly out of nowhere (unlike those annoyingly stiff chin hairs that always crop upwards when I'k driving).
All they want to do is honey. 🙂 My favorite ones, like Dare to Bare, get my 24-hour interval started correct, considering they're potent fatigue fighters, pregnant that they help me await less tired.
And I sure needed the help today. My noisy new neighbors (the Finch Family) are early risers (y'all know, tryin' to get that worm), and boy! — they're loud.
I mean, I go it. Every new day is a reason to gloat, but tin can't we wait until 6:30-ish or 7? Come up on, guys, cut a girl some slack.
Thankfully, I Dared to Blank this morn. It's from the MAC Tropical Taboo collection, which landed on counters today. There are six Mineralize Eye Shadows in the release, but this 1's gorgeous mix of cream, violet and gold caught my eye first.
I want to decorate my bedroom in these colors… I think that'd be so soothing and conducive to adept sleep.
When you lot mix Dare to Bare's colors together with a wet brush (I use a 217 spritzed with Fix+) and vitrify that on lids, the colors melt together in a cool way. On my lids, I go a shimmery, groovy pale gold with violet accents that I tin encounter sometimes out of the corner of my eye when I turn my head or blink.
Actually, really pretty, and I think that it'south that subtle violet that distinguishes it from like MAC standards like Ricepaper.
Additional MAC Tropical Taboo makeup worn in this look:
- EYES: Feline and Orpheous Kohl Power Eye Pencils
- CHEEKS: Mineralize Skinfinish in Adored
- LIPS: Lip Pencil in Hip 'N' Happy, Mineralize Rich Lipstick in Divine Choie and Cremesheen Glass in Calypso Beat
Dare to Bare's violet side also opens the door to pairings with pale purples. Today I wore it all over my lids with MAC Shale lightly swept into the outer corner, and I recall the two looked really pretty together.
I also looked considerably less tired, then woo-hoo!
